【摘要】:Sheartestsofvariouskindsarewidelyusedinthereinforcedplasticsindustrytoassessthestrengthofthereinforcement-to-resinbondinpolyester-,vinylester-,andepoxy-resincomposites.Inadditiontotheirimportanceforthegenerationofdataforresearchanddevelopment,qualitycontrol,andspecificationpurposes,suchtestsareoffundamentalvaluetothefibrousreinforcementindustry,sincetheycanbeusedtoassessthepotentialofnewsizingsystemsforthesurfacetreatmentofglassfibers.Thistestmethodisusefulforestablishingtheshearstrengthoflaminatesorotherreinforcedplasticshavingrandomlydispersedfiberreinforcement.Whilethetestalsolendsitselftoparallel-fiberreinforcedplastics,ithasbeendesignedtoaccommodatenonparallel-fiberreinforcedmaterialsthatcannotbetestedsatisfactorilybytheshort-beamproceduredescribedinTestMethodD2344.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthein-planeshearstrengthofreinforcedthermosettingplasticsinflatsheetforminthicknessesrangingfrom2.54to6.60mm(0.100to0.260in.).Thisprotocolinnotforreinforcedpultrudedthermosetproducts,whichmayuseTestMethodD2344/D2344M.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisstandardhasnoknownISOequivalent.
