【摘要】:Thetestmethodisusefulforthefollowing:ClassificationofPowders8212;Thecohesionandangleofinternalfrictionareflowabilityindicatorsofpowdersandcanbeusedtoclassifythepowders.QualityControl8212;Foranumberofindustrialapplicationsflowabilityfactorsareusedtocomparethematerialflowabilityatdifferenttimesduringproduction.Thematerialproducedhastobeheldwithingivenlimitsforeachapplicationandeachpowdersoastoensuretrouble-freeoperation.MaterialEngineering8212;Powderpropertiesareinfluencedbyparticlesize,particlesizedistribution,fatcontent,humidityandotherparameters.Byselectingthecorrectparametersandthecorrectmixturesofpowders,therequiredmechanicalpropertiesoftheproductareachieved.DesignofHandlingEquipment8212;Forcertainstorageandconveyorequipmentmathematicalmodelsexistwhichrequirethemechanicalpropertiesofpowders.Note28212;Thequalityoftheresultproducedbythisstandardisdependentonthecompetenceofpersonnelperformingit,andthesuitabilityoftheequipmentandfacilitiesused.AgenciesthatmeetthecriteriaofPracticeD3740aregenerallyconsideredcapableofcompetentandobjectivetesting/sampling/inspection/etc.UsersofthisstandardarecautionedthatcompliancewithPracticeD3740doesnotinitselfassurereliableresults.Reliableresultsdependonmanyfactors;PracticeD3740providesameansofevaluatingsomeofthosefactors.PracticeD3740wasdevelopedforagenciesengagedinthetestingorinspection(orboth)ofsoilandrock.Assuchitisnottotallyapplicabletoagenciesperformingthisstandard.However,usersofthisstandardshouldrecognizethattheframeworkofPracticeD3740isappropriateforevaluatingthequalityofanagencyperformingthisstandard.Currentlythereisnoknownqualifyingnationalauthoritythatinspectsagenciesthatperformthisstandard.1.1Thistestmethodisappliedtothemeasurementofthemechanicalpropertiesofpowdersasafunctionofnormalstress.1.2Thisapparatusissuitablemeasuringthepropertiesofpowdersandotherbulksolids,uptoaparticlesizeof5000micron.1.3Thismethodcomprisesfourdifferenttestproceduresforthedeterminationofpowdermechanicalproperties:1.3.1TestA8212;MeasurementofINTERNALFRICTIONasafunctionofnormalstress.1.3.2TestB8212;MeasurementofWALLFRICTIONasafunctionofnormalstress.1.3.3TestC8212;MeasurementofBULKDENSITYasafunctionofnormalstressandtime.1.3.4TestD8212;MeasurementofDEGRADATIONasafunctionofnormalstress.1.4AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026.1.4.1Theproceduresusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected/recordedorcalculatedinthisstandardareregardedastheindustrystandard.Inaddition,theyarerepresentativeofthesignificantdigitsthatgenerallyshouldberetained.Theproceduresuseddonotconsidermaterialvariation,purposeforobtainingthedata,specialpurposestudies,oranyconsiderationsfortheuserx2019;so......
