【摘要】:Althoughthispracticeisintendedforthecollectionofdriedpaintsamplesinandaroundbuildingsforthesubsequentdeterminationofleadcontent,thispracticemayalsobeusedtocollectpaintsamplesfromotherstructuresforleadanalysis.3Thevariabilityassociatedwiththesamplingofdriedpaintisgenerallyconsideredtobefarhigherthanthevariabilityassociatedwiththeanalysesofthepaintspecimens.Therefore,itisessentialthatsamplecollectionbeproperlycontrolledtoproducerepresentativeandmeaningfulsamples.ThesesamplesarecollectedinamannerthatwillpermitsubsequentdigestionanddeterminationofleadusinglaboratoryanalysistechniquessuchasInductivelyCoupledPlasmaAtomicEmissionSpectrometry(ICP-AES)andFlameAtomicAbsorptionSpectrometry(FAAS)(seeTestMethodE1613),orusingfieldanalysistechniquessuchasanodicstrippingvoltammetry(seeTestMethodE2051).1.1Thispracticecoversthecollectionofsamplesofdriedpaintandothercoatingsfrombuildings.1.2Thispracticeisusedtocollectsamplesforsubsequentdeterminationofleadonanareabasis(milligramsofleadperareasampled)orconcentrationbasis(milligramsofleadpergramofdriedpaintcollectedormasspercent).1.3Thispracticedoesnotaddressthesamplingdesigncriteria(thatis,samplingplanthatincludesthenumberandlocationofsamples)thatareusedforriskassessmentandotherleadhazardactivities.1.4Thispracticecontainsnotesthatareexplanatoryandarenotpartofthemandatoryrequirementsofthispractice.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
