【摘要】:Refractorybrickandshapesofdifferentcompositionsexhibituniquepermanentlinearchangesafterheatingorreheating.Thistestmethodprovidesastandardprocedureforheatingvariousclassesofrefractorieswithappropriateheatingschedules.Linearreheatchangesobtainedbythistestmethodaresuitableforuseinresearchanddevelopment,alsooftenusedtoestablishwrittenspecificationsbetweenproducersandconsumers.Careshouldbeexercisedinselectingsamplesthatarerepresentativeoftheproductbeingtestedandthatthescheduleselectedisappropriatetotheproduct.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepermanentlinearchangeofrefractorybrickwhenheatedunderprescribedconditions.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Note18212;TestmethodsincorporatingadditionalprovisionspertinenttospecificrefractorymaterialsaregiveninthefollowingTestMethods:C179,C210,andC605.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
