【摘要】:Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecauseinformationonbetween-laboratoryprecisionisknowntobepoor.Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,thetestsamplestobeusedareashomogenousaspossible,aredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Otherfabricswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Themeasurementoftheresistancetoabrasionoftextilefabricsisverycomplex.Theresistancetoabrasionisaffectedbymanyfactorsthatincludetheinherentmechanicalpropertiesofthefibers;thedimensionsofthefibers;thestructureoftheyarns;theconstructionofthefabrics;thetype,kind,andamountoftreatmentaddedtothefibers,yarns,orfabric;thenatureoftheabradant;thevariableactionoftheabradantoverthespecimenareaabraded;thetensiononthespecimen;thepressurebetweenthespecimenandtheabradant;andthedimensionalchangesinthespecimen.Themeasurementoftherelativeamountofabrasioncanbeaffectedbythemethodofevaluationandisofteninfluencedbythejudgmentoftheoperator.Itisrecognizedthatwiththistestmethodothermeansofevaluationbesidescyclestoruptureandbreakingstrengthhavebeenusedbytheindustry,suchascolorchange,appearancechange,andsoforth.Experiencehasshownthesetobehighlyvariableparametersandtheyarenotrecommendedwithoutexactcriteriaidentifiedinanapplicablematerialspecificationorcontract.Consequently,thecriteriaofbreakingstrengthandcyclestorupturearetherecommendedmeansofevaluationbecausetheyareconsideredtheleastvariableandinterlaboratoryagreementislikelytobeobtainedmoreeasily.Abrasiontestsaresubjecttovariationsduetochangesintheabradantbarduringspecifictests.Theabradantbarisconsideredapermanentabradantthatusesahardenedmetalsurface.Itisassumedthattheabradantwillnotchangeappreciablyinaspecificseriesoftests,butobviouslysimilarabradantsusedindifferentlaboratorieswillnotlikelychangeatthesamerateduetodifferencesinusage.Permanentabradantsmayalsochangeduetopickupoftreatmentsorothermaterialfromtestfabricsandmustaccordinglybecleanedatfrequentintervals.Consequently,dependinguponitsusage,theabradantbarmustbecheckedperiodicallyagainstastandard.Theresistanceoftextilematerialstoabrasionasmeasuredbythistestmethoddoesnotincludeallthefactorswhichaccountforwearperformanceordurabilityinactualuse.Whiletheabrasionresistancestatedintermsofthenumberofcyclesanddurability(definedastheabilitytowithstanddeteriorationorwearingoutinuse,includingtheeffectsofabrasion)arefrequentlyrelated,therelationshipvarieswithdifferentenduses.Differentfactorsmaybenecessaryinanycalculationofpredicteddurabilityfromspecificabrasiondata.Laboratorytestsmaybereliableasanindicationofrelativeenduseincaseswherethedifferenceinabrasionresistanceofvariousmaterialsislarge,buttheyshouldnotberelieduponwheredifferencesinlaboratorytestfindingsaresmall.Ingeneral,theresultsshouldnotberelieduponforpredictionofperformanceduringactualwearlifeforspeci......
