【摘要】:hesetestmethodscovertwoproceduresforthequalitativedeterminationandidentificationofthemineralconstituentsoffilledandcoatedpapers.Duetothesimilarityinchemicalcompositionandphysicalsizeandshapeofsomeofthevariouspossibleconstituentscontainedinagivenpaperspecimen,moreprecise,quantitativemethodsmayattimesberequiredforpositiveidentification.Itisrecommendedthatonebecomethoroughlyfamiliarwiththesetestmethodsbyanalyzingpapersamplesofknownmineralcomponentcontent.Thetestmethodsappearasfollows:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThesetestmethodsaretechnicallyequivalenttoTAPPIT421.
