适用范围
本标准规定盒式磁带上数据交换用的文卷结构。为了适用于复杂程度不同的设备和应用，规定了下述三种系统：a.基本系统，仅使用硬件定义的分隔符来构造文卷。b.紧致系统，使用特定的具有信息内容的数据块（即标号）构造文卷，只须使用数字设备就可记录这些数据块。c.扩充系统，使用GB 7574规定的磁带标号系统连同新的标号来定义一个更完整的标号系统。
